Ido is a very convenient way to find files and switch buffers.
Basic setup
(ido-mode)
(ido-everywhere 1)
Helpful keybindings
- [C-x C-c]
- Quit Emacs.
- [C-x C-s] (or M-x save-buffer)
- Save buffer.
